Isn't This Weird?

I haven't posted on this blog for a while and the reason is that I haven't traveled in a while:( But.... now I am in ALASKA!!!!!! It is VERY beautiful and COLD.... I will upload a picture to my blog of the outside when I look around a little bit:) The Northern Lights will be very visible tonight overhead while we sit in our friends jacuzzi outside:) I probably cannot get a picture of the lights though because they move SOO fast my dad says... I have never seen them before so I am VERY excited!!!

AT LAST!!!

Finally, I have a time to post on my travel blog. I am on a women's retreat for my first time and I am so happy that all these women are welcoming a 12 year-old girl. It is VERY fun and relaxing. We had an X-Box Connect Dance Party and we PARTIED down. I was there until about 10:30, then came back to my house for some Martinellis and dessert at like 11. I know, I shouldn't be awake right now, but I told my mom that since we are on a retreat, she is not my mom. Ends up that 2 teachers from my schhol are here because one of them goes to my church and she invited another one. The houses are amazing: 3 of them for our group. They each have at least 4 bedrooms, with abathrrom for each room. Our house has 4 rooms, with a studio kind of set up. The "dance" house has 6 rooms and 2 of the rooms are just small spaces with built-in bunk beds (4 bunks in each small room). The "dance" room has a giant couch that can fit 2 people. It is like a v. One person sits on 1 side and the other is on the other side. I am VERY tired now, so I am going to bed! I will blog with you tomorrow...

Okay, I have an amazing site for all of my followers to visit. So, in almost every single city of the United States, there is a place to stay for you under the price of $90... With little kids or without. I am introducing www.airbnb.com which is a program where people sign up and rent out either a part of their home or their entire home for a VERY reasonable price. So, next time you are looking for a quick, cheap place to stay for the night, go to this website and find the suitable place for you. The description has pictures, and states the amount of people able to stay in the room or house. There are usually reviews, and good tips in the reviews about the place that you may like to stay in. Contact the host and book it!!! There is also an app for Airbnb on apple products and it is very handy!!! Which is what we used...

I am staying n an Airbnb place in Mt. Shasta and it has the most amazing view of the place. It takes my breath away. Don't worry, I will take pictures and post them... We are heading to Fairfax today and spending the night there. Then Paso Robles, then heading back after 3 to 4 days of country paradise! Then, probably the same deal, except backwards and maybe more days in Fairfax. Love you guys! And I love Airbnb too!

California, Here I Come

So, probably leaving tomorrow, I will be taking a road trip with my mom and sister to Northern California. I will be seeing old friends, new friends, but mainly Amanda's friends... they aren't as close to me though. So PLEASE keep posted with my blogging!!!

Home Again

Amanda and I landed in Seattle at about 6:00 and are at our grandparents' house now. I am posting from our iPad that I just found out that I had. I guess it arrived a few days ago, but my mom picked it up yesterday. But anyways... We are pretending that tonight is Christmas Eve and the 26th (tomorrow) is Christmas Day. We can open one present tonight and the rest, tomorrow. Well, here I go opening my first present from my aunt. Merry Christmas!
